Liinks supports URL redirects in a few different contexts to help ensure visitors always reach the right content.
Custom domain redirects
When you connect a custom domain to your Liinks profile, requests to your domain are automatically redirected to display your Liinks page content. If you set up both a root domain (e.g., example.com) and a www subdomain (e.g., www.example.com), both will redirect to your profile.
Profile URL changes
If you change your Liinks username (URL slug), your old URL will no longer work. Make sure to update any links pointing to your old profile URL after making a change.
Link click tracking
When visitors click links on your profile, Liinks briefly routes the click through its tracking system to record analytics data before redirecting the visitor to the destination URL. This happens seamlessly and allows you to see click counts and trends in your Analytics panel.
