Customize profile name

Your profile name, bio, and picture are the first things visitors see when they land on your page. Here's how to customize them.

Changing your display name

1. Go to the Design tab in your admin dashboard.
2. At the top of the page, you'll see your Profile section with your name, bio, and profile picture.
3. Click on your name to edit it.
4. Type your new display name and save.

Your display name appears at the top of your public profile. It can be different from your username/slug (the part after liinks.co/).

Changing your username (URL slug)

Your username determines your profile URL (e.g., liinks.co/yourname). To change it:

1. Go to the Settings tab.
2. Find the Profile URL or Username section.
3. Enter your new username.
4. Save your changes.

Note that changing your username will change your profile URL. Any existing links pointing to your old URL will no longer work.

Updating your bio

1. Go to the Design tab.
2. Click on the bio text below your profile name.
3. Write a short description about yourself or your brand.
4. Save your changes.

Your bio appears directly below your name on your public profile. Keep it concise — a sentence or two works best.

Changing your profile picture

1. Go to the Design tab.
2. Click on your profile picture (or the placeholder if you haven't set one yet).
3. Upload a new image.

You can adjust the profile picture size, add a border, and add a shadow effect in the Design panel under the Profile Picture section. These additional styling options are available on Premium plans.
